Tocal Field Days has been selected as a finalist in the Specialised Business category of the Hunter Local Business Awards for 2023.

The event celebrates its 40th year in 2024 and the nomination in the awards is a fantastic way to kick off year long celebrations.

“The nomination was great news to receive, but to be able to win our category would mean recognition for the 40 years of hard work that has gone in to establishing and maintaining the event as affordable and accessible to all. It is an incredibly important platform to connect isolated rural individuals, facilitate community groups to connect, promote and network and engage visitors to maintain the relevance of the Australian Agriculture sector”, said Event Manager Charise Foulstone.

“We have a strong reputation for celebrating the culture and heritage of the Hunter Region, and fostering a sense of community pride and spirit. Recognising the continued success of this event for the team and our community is important to us all.”

There are 14 finalists in the category and the winner will be announced at a gala awards ceremony at Belmont 16s on November 8.
