Tocal Field Days is the premier agricultural event in the Hunter, Newcastle and Central Coast Regions.

Kate Burns will always be remembered as a treasured colleague and a truly wonderful friend. Her contribution to Tocal Field Days went far beyond her work — she brought warmth, humour, and a genuine positivity that lifted everyone around her. Kate had a way of making people feel welcome, supported, and valued, and her positive spirit will remain a lasting part of the Tocal community.
While we feel her absence deeply, we also hold onto the many memories she helped create — the laughter, the teamwork, and the shared pride in what Tocal Field Days represents. Her legacy lives on in the friendships she built and the impact she made on all of us.
“Those we have held in our arms for a little while, we hold in our hearts forever.”

Held every year on the first weekend in May, our visitors include people on the land looking for the latest innovations, hobby farmers and enthusiasts, and people just looking for a great day out. Our 370+ exhibitors bring all the latest farming techniques and technologies, machinery, remote devices, solar energy, and award-winning livestock. We also offer local good food and wine, demonstrations, and a boatload of fun.
“A heartfelt thank you to everyone who continues to show up and support everyone involved with Tocal Field Days. From tractors to tech, working dogs to soil science – Tocal Field Days continues to celebrate the best in agriculture and land management. Together, we’ve made this event more than a tradition – it’s a community movement over 40 years strong!”
