Tocal Field Days offer a unique and enriching experience for students of all ages, making it a fantastic choice for a school excursion.
At Tocal Field Days, students get to experience learning outside the traditional classroom setting. They can engage in interactive workshops, see live demonstrations, and participate in hands-on activities that make learning both fun and memorable.
- Students can witness firsthand how the subjects they learn in school are applied in the real world. From biology in animal care to technology in modern farming practices, Tocal Field Days provide practical examples that help bridge the gap between theory and practice.
- The event emphasizes the importance of agriculture and sustainability.
- We provide a special bus parking area inside the event where you will be met by our ‘Schools Coordinator’ who will provide a safety briefing and a site induction.
- There are a number of shade shelters throughout the event where you can meet for lunch.
- ‘Tocal on Show’ showcases everything about Tocal College including horse demonstrations, sheep dog trials as well as safe quad bike and motorbike demonstrations from the College students.
- Whilst at the event you can also catch the shuttle bus to the fishing clinic and the Homestead.
