In January, Tocal Dairy proudly received the Superior Milk Quality Award for the 2024/2025 season, presented by Norco field officer Ewen Lewis.
The award recognises Tocal’s outstanding achievement in supplying consistently high‑quality milk across the entire year, earning premium payments for every litre supplied.
This result reflects the dedication, professionalism and daily commitment of our entire dairy team — staff and students alike — who work to the highest industry standards.
Celebrating Our Team’s Achievement
The award was formally accepted on behalf of the Dairy by Tara Gray and Anna Sutcliffe, two of our highly skilled former Tocal students who have gone on to become key members of our livestock and milking team.
Tara and Anna not only contribute to the day‑to‑day excellence of the Dairy, but also play an essential role in training and mentoring our current students — passing on the skills, discipline and industry pride they learned during their own time at the College.
Their leadership and expertise are a major part of why the Tocal herd consistently produces milk that meets — and exceeds — the strictest quality benchmarks.
A Whole‑Team Effort
This achievement belongs to everyone involved in the Dairy.
Under the leadership of Matt and the Dairy team, our staff and students continue to model what high‑quality agricultural training looks like: attention to detail, excellent herd management, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
We congratulate the entire team on earning this thoroughly deserved award.
